Hiking + Biking Trails

In a subdivision, you walk the sidewalks.  In the Great Outdoors, you walk with Nature.

We have a sweet hiking trail – that makes a full loop.  There’s a lot to see on it.   You can follow the river shoreline and meander from the marina to the swimming pool and into the wooded portion of the campground where one of the most intense concentrations of rare plant species you’ll find anywhere in the Bluegrass Region.

Take note of the many different trees.  Beech and Poplar (our state tree), Chinquapin Oak and Sugar Maples lies an abundance of exquisite botanical variety such as the Snow Trillium, Big BlueStem, Wild Oates, Riverbank Goldenrod, Saint John’s Wort and Tufted Hairgrass.

Book your next vacation here – its gorgeous!
